About Us

Driven by a workforce of 1000+, spread across 14 plants in 7 cities, through 5 states of India, MSTPL produced 14 million Inner Tubes for Front Forks in 2024. We cater to 38% of the OEMs of the two wheeler industry in India as tier II suppliers. We also produced 12 million Piston Rods for the two-wheeler Shock Absorber industry.

Macks Surface Treatments Pvt. Ltd. (MSTPL) was setup in Nashik in 1990 by Rahul Nigam for the purpose of providing quality surface treatment services to the automobile industry.

Our products have a share in over 35% of motorcycles and 50% of scooters manufactured in India, MSTPL has built in the last 34 years a most enviable record in the supply of piston rods for shock absorbers and inner tube for Front Forks to most of the two-wheeler manufacturers in India, an industry that prides itself on cutting edge quality and price consciousness.

Having earned every single quality certification including IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 among others, the organization has been built upon the ethos of “Providing Customer Solution” for over 30 years. MSTPL today supplies more than 2.5 million components each month.

Our Team

Rahul Nigam

– Chairman

Rahul Nigam, ex-Indian Army Officer and an alumni of National Defense Academy (NDA), brought with him the earnestness and diligence associated with the Defense forces of India. At 30 years of age, he had the right mix of energy, enthusiasm and vision with which he plunged into building a customer solutions approach to manufacturing with global standards of quality.
A true visionary, in 2010 he founded an extreme adventure company, ‘Jumpin Heights’ for bungy jumping in Rishikesh & Goa with the view to redefining how safety is perceived in India.

Dr. Sanjay Pandey

– Managing Director

Sanjay Pandey, a Ph.D in Organometallic Chemistry has played a key role in establishing process controls and ensuring chemistry of surface treatment chemicals in chemical baths and chemicals sourced from suppliers by updating our laboratories as required from time to time. Associated with MSTPL since inception, has the managerial dexterity to complement his technical acumen and is the driving force behind all the qualitative initiatives.

Ms. Seema Sethi

– Director North Zone

Ms. Seema Sethi, a professor turned entrepreneur graduated from the field of academics to administration to setting up the first unit in the Plating zone, Gurgaon, backed by the Ministry Of Environment & Forests (MOEF) approval.

A double post -graduate in Economics and Education, she has taught Economics at Jai- hind College, Bombay and was Vice Principal of a leading school in Delhi before taking the plunge in 1999 to set up a Hard Chrome Plating unit followed by LTC, Tin and Silver plating facilities.

Her dynamic leadership and inter-personal skills have helped her stride ahead in a field where few women dare, and truly lead with ‘quality ‘stamped as her hallmark.
